Applying for a post with Justin Craig Education
Our exam revision course tutors are the cornerstone of our business.
Since 1981 we have developed a reputation not only for being market-leaders
in providing GCSE, AS and A2 courses but also thanks to our 400+ expert
tutors, we are one of the most trusted providers of revision courses.
We are totally committed and passionate to recruit only the best and most enthusiastic tutors, and so all our tutors undertake a meticulous recruitment process.
The vast majority of our tutors return to work with us year after year, but given the ever increasing demand for our courses, we’re always looking for new tutors to join us.
All of our tutors are currently employed in UK schools and colleges. Our tutors must be able to inspire, motivate and support our student to achieve their full potential by being:
- An expert in their subject
- Able to communicate clearly to your students
- Approachable, friendly and responsive to your students’ needs
- Be fully conversant with the different examination requirements for the three main UK awarding bodies: AQA , EDEXCEL and OCR
What happens after you submit your application form
We will acknowledge receipt of your application form by sending you an email, and if successful, asking you to attend for interview.
At interview we will explain how everything works and discuss the different centres with you. If you have a preference for a particular centre then you can mention it at interview and we will do our best to offer your first preference.
After interview we write or e-mail your referee for a reference (must be a current teaching reference)
Upon receipt of a satisfactory reference, we will send you an offer
of employment.
If you wish to accept this, we ask you to confirm immediately. We will
always do our best to offer you work at your preferred centre but obviously
cannot guarantee this.
Confirmation of employment with Justin Craig Education (JCE) is subject to satisfactory references. We are also in the process of CRB checking all of our staff.
