AS Level & A2 Physics Revision
Physics revision doesn't need to be daunting. A Level Physics is one of the most respected academic qualifications you can obtain and with a bit of practice and some help revising along the way, you'll do the best you possibly can at exam time.
At both AS Level and A Level there are a number of different exam boards operating across the country including; AQA, Edexcel & OCR. However, these different exam boards all share common features, both in the style of assessment and the content that is assessed which enables us to provide expert Physics tuition regardless of which exam board is setting your AS or A2 Physics exam.
AS and A2 Level Physics Revision Topics
AS Level Physics considers the structure of matter, the laws of mechanics, wave motion and electricity.
A2 Level Physics extends this by looking at thermal Physics, nuclear Physics, fields and circular and simple harmonic motion. Many A2-Level syllabi also take these further with 'option topics'.
AS and A2 Level Physics Revision Course Methods
Justin Craig tutors have experience of teaching across both of these levels and all of the topics. Each lesson is designed to allow students practice at tackling exam questions, as well as reinforcing understanding of the concepts that they find difficult.
Whether undertaking A level revision or AS level revision, our experience tutors recognise that each student is an individual; lessons are therefore tailored to each individual's needs. Time might be devoted to explaining a complex problem, or going over a topic to ensure that the student has a clear picture of how everything fits together. Plenty of time will be set aside for working on exam questions and any problems and past papers the student brings with them.
It's natural to become bored after spending too long doing the same thing, so our tutors like to break things up with games, discussion, questions & answers, all to ensure that all the time spent in a session helps our students. We also like to ensure that time is made to talk about the best ways to revise, exactly what to expect in an exam and how to answer questions in the right way to maximise the marks available.
