GCSE Business Studies Exam Revision
Your Business Studies revision course session would typically begin with an informal conversation between students and tutor to establish the key areas that students need covering over the course of their Business Studies revision with Justin Craig.
This is called the Needs Analysis and forms a vital part ensuring that students learn what they need to. This allows both students and tutors to establish a working pattern to make the most of the time on the revision course; this forms a study guideline and evolves in line with the students needs as the course progresses to make sure that students are learning exactly what they need to give them the best chance of exam success.
Effective Business Studies Revision
We frequently use a 'whole class' approach where all of the students revising wish to learn around the same subject areas, for example 'competitive markets'. This would then be taught to the whole group and assessed by means of exam questions to identify further areas to work on to ensure that students have a full understanding of an exam area.
Where this is not the best method to help students' individual learning, sessions or small group tutorials will be held to work on more specific elements of Business Studies in order to help develop a more comprehensive understanding on this area. For example if one or two students needed to work on 'accounting principles' whilst the rest of the revision group were strong in this area then a small group session would be held whilst the other students worked on exam questions in order to prepare them for sitting the GCSE Business exam.
