Why Easter Revision?

With just a few weeks to go until the start of exams, Easter is a crucial time for revision and exam preparation. Now that teaching of the syllabus is complete, students’ attention turns to consolidating all their subject knowledge and fine tuning their exam skills, ready to demonstrate all that they have learnt.

Our two and three-day intensive revision courses offer students the chance to be immersed in their subject with a specialist teacher, bringing together all key aspects of the course, practising exam skills and boosting their confidence.

The wide range of dates and locations offers flexibility for students to plan their revision timetable, to mix and match courses with their own independent revision or to join us for most of their revision schedule.

We have a variety of centres, some with a residential option for Year 11 and Year 13 students. Online courses are also available for selected subjects.

All Easter courses offer:

  • Small group sizes (maximum 8 students)
  • Subject-specialist tutors
  • Tailored tuition
  • Exam question practice
  • Supportive tutors and pastoral care staff

Why students join Easter Revision Courses:

  • To boost grades for sixth form entry or university
  • To remedy any problem areas
  • Work on exam skills
  • Alleviate exam anxiety
  • To build confidence or motivation
  • To work with other students in the same boat

Courses

Our two and three-day courses cater for students in Years 10-13.

GCSE

Generally, our courses cover one subject over two days. We offer a wide range of Year 11 GCSE subjects as well as the core subjects for Year 10 students. At our centres with a residential option, the format is slightly different as we offer three-day Year 11 GCSE courses, covering two subjects. Students may attend on a non-residential basis.

A Level

Three-day courses covering one subject are available at all centres. Residential courses may qualify for Duke of Edinburgh Gold award. Courses for many subjects are exam board specific.

Our Team

Tutors: All our tutors are subject specialists and many are examiners with the main examination boards. We select excellent communicators, with a real interest in developing students’ confidence in their subject and helping them achieve the best result they can. Our tutors mostly work in mainstream schools and come from a variety of state and independent schools across the UK.

Course Directors: Each centre is managed by one of our Course Directors, who are in effect, the Head Teacher for the duration of the course. They are responsible for the smooth running of the centre and act as a point of contact for parents and students throughout the course.

Course Assistants: Each centre has a team of Course Assistants who are there to guide students and help them have an enjoyable and productive time. They are responsible for running the popular tuck shops during break times, as well as the activity programmes in the evenings on residential courses. All course assistants are former Justin Craig students, so they know just how it feels to come on a course, and can offer invaluable tips and support to the students.
