One Day Courses

Group tutoring for GCSE and A level students

Justin Craig Education has been successfully running three day revision courses for over 30 years. Following requests from parents and students, we are pleased to now offer one day classes at keys times of the year. This is to help students increase their understanding of a subject, bolster knowledge gained during three day courses and leave students fully prepared for their exams.

What will you get out of the day?

‘Get Ahead’ Courses:

• A clearer understanding of the subject as a whole
• The confidence and skill to ask questions that matter
• Ability to make links and connections between the various units/concepts
• Inspiration to research and learn independently

Pre-exam Courses:

• Focussed revision sessions, tailored to the students’ individual needs
• Six hours dedicated revision the weekend prior to the exam
• Further development of exam skills gained during three day courses

Why group tutoring?

• Students understand more about their subject and what they know about it by interaction, the sharing and discussions of views with others;
• They benefit from helping each other. Group tutoring allows them to test out their knowledge on other students and make sure they have a real understanding of key concepts required for success. 
• Group tutoring encourages a range of learning styles such as kinaesthetic learning, visual and interpersonal.
• Instead of an hour a week, our sessions last for six hours (with breaks added in) to ensure students get a real in-depth understanding, a chance to ask questions and consolidate knowledge in the same session.

How much does it cost?

One Day Pre-exam courses can be added to a three day course booking for £99 extra.

• Customers who are new to Justin Craig can experience a course by booking a stand-alone One Day Pre-exam course for just £99.
• Our ‘Get Ahead’ One Day courses cost £135, though any customers purchasing their first One Day course can do so for the introductory price of £99.
