Tailored revision courses for Schools, Colleges and Academies

 

Effective revision and learning can only take place when the environment is right. That’s why an increasing number of schools, colleges and academies have chosen to work with us over the past four years to deliver expert revision support as an intervention strategy for improving results at KS4 and KS5.

 

The focus of revision courses varies enormously between schools, colleges and academies, however, many establishments typically look for support in the following areas:

There are two main ways in which we can help you:

1. Arrange an In-house course – DAY COURSES only

Held at your school/college/academy outside of teaching time, we will tailor make a course to meet your requirements. This high impact strategy endeavours to improve student grades, boost confidence and increase levels of motivation. 

These courses can take place during School holidays, half term or at weekends

 

2. Arrange a Group Booking – DAY or RESIDENTIAL 

Book a group of students (GCSE/AS/A2) onto one of our three-day courses held at an existing Justin Craig Centre. 

These Courses enable your students to focus on revision in a comfortable and relaxed environment away from their everyday school environment.

Our friendly, knowledgeable tutors are definitely the most important factor in the success of our courses. Many of our tutors have examining experience and are able to help students consolidate their subject knowledge while improving their exam technique.

9.00 – 9.15 Welcome talk and Introductions

9.20 – 9.30 Split into groups and move to classrooms 

9.30 – 11.00 Session 1 

11.15 – 12.45 Session 2

1.30 – 3.00 Session 3

3.15 – 4.45 Session 4

4.45 – 5.00 Post course Evaluation – day 3 only

 

 

Talks and Workshops for Parents and Students

 

We also offer a range of exciting and innovative talks and workshops which will be of benefit to your students and their parents/guardians. Our workshops have been designed by experienced teaching staff and delivered in a fun and engaging manner.

 

The aim of these workshops is to kick start student thinking and revision planning.
