GCSE Revision Course List
Courses For Year 10 and 11 Students
Our courses cover all the main subjects studied by school aged students in the UK.
For the majority of our IGCSE/GCSE courses, we ask that students choose 2 subjects to cover on each course. We have structured our courses in this way to help students manage the multiple demands on their revision time arising from studying many subjects. In our experience, having some subject variety also helps boost student motivation and learning.
Year 10 and 11 courses are broadly similar in approach, with the main difference being that year 10 courses focus more on knowledge consolidation and revision techniques/tips rather than preparation for public examinations.
We provide courses which are appropriate for all the main exam boards, including Edexcel, OCR, AQA, CIE and WJEC. The majority of year 10 and 11 courses are not exam board specific. However, where there is a significant difference in curriculum and/or exam paper, we offer exam board specific classes.
For the sciences, we offer specific courses for students studying Combined Science (Double) or Triple IGCSE/GCSE award.
Timing of Courses
To ensure that students have a range of options for focused revision during their 2 year IGCSE /GCSE studies, we offer courses at key points throughout the academic year.
In general, our courses are scheduled during school holidays in October, Christmas, February, Easter, May Day Weekend and Half Term. We also offer pre-exam courses for students sitting public examinations in May and June to offer a final confidence boost prior to exams.
A GCSE Summer School is now available for transition into Year 11.
Day Courses
Our in-person courses that take place at our centres have a tailored content that covers the topics and skills that students have requested via the Student Portal.
The Student Portal is an online area on our website where students log in and tell us what their particular study needs are. This could include specific topic areas that they would like to revise, whether they would like to go over past exam questions and if they require help with their exam technique.
This information is then accessed by the course tutor who will collate the student’s responses and tailor the course to their learning needs. Therefore, no two courses will be the same as each group of students will have slightly different course requirements.
Online Courses
Our online courses have a more prescribed content giving students more clarity about the topics or skills that are to be covered on the course. For most subjects the prescribed content will change over the course of the year, so students will not be revising the same topics by attending the same courses at different times of year.
GCSE Year 10
We offer high-quality, focused support in the essential core subjects students need most: Maths, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Whether students want to boost their grades, understand tricky concepts, or master their exam technique early, our interactive sessions make sure they are fully prepared for Year 11 success.
We offer online courses during the October Half Term and Christmas Break and in-person courses over February Half Term and Easter.
