AS Level Revision Courses
AS level revision courses, as well as A2 courses, provide an opportunity for all students working on A levels to catch up on neglected school work and revise for their exams.

George Turnbull, the Exams Doctor at the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual), makes the point very strongly. "Do not cram the night before an exam," he says.
He provides exam hints and tips at the Ofqual website. To develop memory and study technique he suggests avoiding lengthy revision sessions.
Avoid Cramming for AS Level Revision
Sessions lasting several hours are proven to fail. He said, "Start with the 10 minutes you know you will do. Then have a 10-minute break and start again."
As this technique is developed, increase the amount of time worked between breaks. After increasing the amount of study over about five days, Mr Turnbull recommends that students reward themselves with an evening off socialising.
Other exam experts spell out the importance of re-visiting knowledge regularly to commit it to long-term memory. This would involve trying to commit to memory at the first reading and then reviewing the material after 24 hours.
After a week, read and memorise again, then repeat this process a month after that. By reviewing the knowledge for a fifth time, it should stay in long-term memory. Combined with attending revision courses, this technique can help improve grades.
